CES 2012 in one word, overwhelming. From the sheer number of gadgets and devices to the amount of people, CES is just plain overwhelming. The show extends beyond the Las Vegas Convention Center to The Venetian and Las Vegas Hilton where other mini exhibit halls are set up and companies rent rooms to set up demos. Besides the big players like Canon, LG, Intel, Nikon, Panasonic, Samsung, Sharp, and Sony, there are thousands of companies you’ve never heard of. You quickly realize how massive the show is and accept that actually seeing everything is a physical impossibility. Unless of course you had a device to freeze time, but no one had that on display this year. Check back next week as I start to post recaps from the show.
